This Disability Art Traveling show is at the West Valley Regional Branch of the L.A. Public Library at 19036 Vanowen Street, Reseda and will be on view for the months of March and April 2012.

These works of art include several deaf artists from the DEAFestival Los Angeles art contest, with the great help of Councilmember Tony Cardenas and from Richard Ray, ADA Coordinator and Coordinator of Deaf Services for the City of Los Angeles Department on Disability.

Disability Art Exhibit - Los Angeles Memorial Branch Library

This is a Disability Art Exhibit I set up at Memorial Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library at 4625 West Olympic Blvd. This is in honor of Deaf Awareness Month and National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and will be on view March and April 2012. This show demonstrates that persons with disabilities have ABILITIES and TALENTS just like everyone else. These artworks were selected from a larger exhibit last November of 91 art works by 42 different artists and includes deaf artists, blind artists and partially paralyzed artests from age 13 to 72.
